Power Harmonic Mitigation Power Factor Improvement.
VFD Output Common Mode Voltage and Voltage Spike Mitigation.
Active Front End (AFE) VFDs: AFE VFDs are one of the most effective means of reducing harmonic distortion (HD) as they mitigate HD at its source. AFE benefits include Harmonic Mitigation, Near Unity Power Factor (PF), and where applicable, our AFE VFDs can take power that is regenerative and inject it back into the power distribution system.

Active Front End VFDs for Harmonic Mitigation, Unity PF, Regen (where applicable)

Sine Wave Output Filters:  Our VFDs can be equipped with TCI Sine Wave Filters (SWF) that reduce the VFD Common Mode Voltage levels, and also the voltage spiking created with long cable lengths between VFD and motor, all of which extends electric motor winding, bearing, and cabling life.

Active Harmonic Filter for Common Bus VFD Harmonic Distortion (HD) and Power Factor Correction (PFC):

Active Harmonic Filters (AHF) are provided for multiple VFD applications and correct harmonic content and improve Power Factor. It can be more cost effective to mitigate harmonics for multiple VFDs that are present on a common electrical bus such as a typical Motor Control Center.

AHFs install on the same electrical bus as the other loads, and the AHF works via the injection of current, reducing harmonic currents and thereby decreasing current and voltage distortion, and increasing Power Factor
